Guided Journey Assignment

Assignment overview

When you open a Guided Journey assignment, the Assignment Overview window provides all the key details:

1. Number of questions
2. Assignment weight (points)
3. Due date
4. Instructions for completing a Guided Journey assignment
5. General instructions from your instructor (if provided)
6. Grading logic

This window appears every time you access the assignment from the Assignments page.

How to Complete a Guided Journey assignment

1. Start the Assignment
   • Read the overview and click Start.
2. Explore the Questions
   • Questions are listed in the left side panel.
3. Engage with the AI Academic Coach
   • The coach will guide you through the text by highlighting relevant sections.
   • You’ll be asked questions about these highlights—answer them thoughtfully.
   • At the end of each discussion, the coach will generate a written response based on your input.
   • Review the response under the Answer tab and edit it if needed.
4. Repeat for Each Question
   • Go through the same process for all questions in the panel.
5. Submit Your Assignment
   • Click the Submit button in the top right corner.
   • Review the submission window to ensure all requirements are met.
6. Review Instructor Feedback
   • If your instructor provides verbal feedback, it will appear in the right side panel.
   • Use the icons in the top right to switch between modes.
